UChicago Arts
A quarterly guide to arts & culture at the University of Chicago
(January, April, September)
From the Logan Center and the Arts Incubator to Court Theatre and the Smart Museum, the University of Chicago is home to renowned arts destinations, and world-class artists and emerging creators alike. This is the first publication covering the full range of UChicago Arts, and the best way to reach this intellectually and culturally engaged audience.
The publication is printed in a magazine format and is distributed via insert in Newcity, street teaming across the city and, of course, available at all of the University of Chicago’s key cultural venues, including the Arts Incubator and the Logan Center.
Music Box Theatre
(February, April, June, August, October, December)
With an active three-month user life, the events-centric calendar is printed as a pocket-sized glossy magazine (48 pages, 5.375 inches wide by 8.375 inches tall) and functions as both a visitors guide to the venue as well as a marketing tool for neighboring and citywide businesses and events.
30,000 circulation includes comprehensive reach of Music Box patrons, plus standalone distribution to more than 200 locations, including local hospitality, retail, restaurant and dedicated news boxes.

EXPO Chicago Official Guide
(September)
Newcity has published the official guide to Chicago’s leading art fair every year since 2007 (back when it was known as Art Chicago).
EXPO CHICAGO, The International Exposition of Contemporary Modern Art, will be presented at Navy Pier’s Festival Hall from September 17-20, 2015. Chicago’s leading art fair features 140 leading international galleries and offer a curated blend of contemporary and modern art.
Newcity’s Official Guide to EXPO CHICAGO is published at the beginning of September, featuring stories on the biggest visual arts events happening in the fall – Hans Ulrich Obrist at the art fair, Scott & Tyson Reeder curating SAIC’s 150th anniversary exhibition, and the Renaissance Society – as well as details on all of the events taking place at Navy Pier and around Chicago as part of EXPO ART WEEK.
The guide, in a full-color glossy magazine format, will feature a minimum press run of 100,000 and will be distributed in three phases:
Phase 1: Standalone distribution at all participating cultural institutions and other relevant locations throughout the city. Phase 2: Insertion into the complete press run of Newcity in a September edition + the Chicago distribution of the Sunday New York Times. Phase 3: On-site distribution at the fair at Navy Pier.
