Newcity is growing, with a clear vision for our future, and we want to bring someone aboard who wants to be a part of it. At a time when just about everyone else is scaling back coverage of arts and culture, we’re all in. We are committed to creating and expanding a world-class magazine from Chicago, and want to find someone who thinks that is as exciting and challenging as we do.
This is an entry-level position, but we’re a place with a history of finding and cultivating the very best talent. Former interns or entry-level hires have gone on to write best-selling books, to be named finalists for National Magazine and Tony Awards and even to win a Pulitzer Prize for Drama.
