Newcity’s July issue features our annual chronicle of the shapers of Chicago’s music world, “Music 45: Who Keeps Chicago in Tune.”
As part of our Leaders of Chicago Culture series, this year’s Music 45 list will highlight the musicians crafting the music landscape of Chicago, from hip-hop to classical and beyond. Typically timed to coincide with the city’s music festival season, this will be a moment to showcase our city’s musicians during a time of unprecedented upheaval in the music industry, with most plans for shows and tours in the upcoming months now sidelined.
Anyone who works in or adjacent to the music space and would like to show their support for this community is encouraged to share their message by advertising in the edition.
