Since 1993, Newcity’s Best of Chicago has been the publishing event of the year, with hundreds and hundreds of entries offering our writers’ insight in a way that expands the imagination of what the city is and can be, and an advertising roster that acknowledges the can’t-miss character of this issue.
This is our 25th year publishing our Best of Chicago, and to commemorate the anniversary this year’s issue will feature a special look at the city life, small businesses, cultural events and more that marked the city, then and now.
Last year’s issue was the first in our new glossy, monthly format—it proved successful enough to switch our magazine to the format full-time earlier this March. The magazine’s premium quality encourages readers to keep the issue on their coffee tables for a long time.
