We are ecstatic to announce the launch of our latest cultural leadership list, The Art 50. Timed to coincide with the major new art fair at Navy Pier, Expo Chicago, this issue will celebrate the living artists who’ve shaped the city’s visual language in our time.
We’ve a long tradition of publishing such lists in both the literary and performing arts worlds of Chicago, with a voice both authoritative and entertaining, so we’re particularly jazzed to expand into an area where, led by art editor Jason Foumberg, we’ve been able to lay the foundation with a regular dose of extensive and intelligent art criticism and coverage.
We expect this issue to be the talk of the art fair the week of publication (we’ll have it available at our booth onsite, natch!) —as well as the talk of Chicago. Please do what you can to advertise and join a vigorous conversation.
